Setting up your e-mail client manually (cPanel)

If you plan on setting up your email client manually and not using the default automatic configuration files your email client settings should be (this is for all cPanel users):

IMAP server: mail.yourdomain.name, port 143
POP3 server: mail.yourdomain.name, port 110
SMTP server: mail.yourdomain.name, port 25 or 2525
Username: [email protected]
Password: your password

Where yourdomain.name is the name of your domain hosted with us.

You can use SSL for secure connections only for POP3 and IMAP.
The ports are the following:
IMAP/SSL port: 993
POP3/SSL port: 995

Please note that the certificate for the SSL connection is for our own server and most of the mail clients will notify you about this with an error message. You can safely ignore the message.

If you experience problems with the secure protocols please try to switch from SSL to TLS or vice versa.
